Gagaku, which was introduced to Japan from the ancient continent and has been passed down for over a thousand years,
will be performed by a group of talented young musicians who will carry on the tradition, performing a wide range of pieces from classics to contemporary commissioned works.

Gagaku, a form of music with over a thousand years of history, was introduced to Japan from ancient Asia and has developed in a variety of ways over the years.
This performance will take you on a rich musical journey that transcends time and place, featuring classical pieces such as Lanling King and Hu Dinjing, as well as Dunhuang pipa scores performed in ancient China and contemporary works created in modern Japan and India. We hope
you will enjoy to your heart's content the Asian sounds woven by these young performers.
