The Edo Tokyo Traditional Performing Arts Festival, which will begin in 2025, will inherit the Tokyo Metropolitan Arts Festival, which has been popular for over half a century, and will be reborn as a festival specializing in traditional Japanese performing arts such as Noh theater, Japanese dance, traditional Japanese music, vaudeville performances, and folk performing arts.From full-scale stage performances to easy-to-participate, hands-on workshops, it will be enjoyable for a wide range of generations, from children to adults.

We've published a special feature article titled "The Talkative Noh Theater!"

Ahead of "The Chatty Noh Theater!" on March 28th, we have published a special feature article.
Amidst the worsening shortage of successors, the article addresses the challenge of passing on traditional techniques, featuring interviews with artisans who support Noh, including those who work in the production of Noh costumes.
At the "The Chatty Noh Theater!" talk event (13:00-13:30), we will invite the author, Tamiko Tamura, to speak about Noh costumes, props, and the artisans who create them.
