The Edo Tokyo Traditional Performing Arts Festival, which will begin in 2025, will inherit the Tokyo Metropolitan Arts Festival, which has been popular for over half a century, and will be reborn as a festival specializing in traditional Japanese performing arts such as Noh theater, Japanese dance, traditional Japanese music, vaudeville performances, and folk performing arts.From full-scale stage performances to easy-to-participate, hands-on workshops, it will be enjoyable for a wide range of generations, from children to adults.

Ticket sales status for "A Day to Experience the 'Work' of Traditional Performing Arts!"

Regarding the "A Day to Experience the 'Work' of Traditional Performing Arts!" event on March 20th, we have a limited number of tickets available for the 3 PM Japanese dance performance.
In addition to a performance of the Japanese dance "Ame no Goro," you can also observe the work that supports Japanese dance, such as makeup, dressing, and wig fitting.
There will also be an exhibition of the costumes used in "Fuji Musume," the Japanese dance piece featured in the movie "National Treasure."
You can purchase tickets until just before 3 PM on the day of the event, so last-minute participation is welcome!
