An interview article on "Gagaku and Asian Music" has been published!

Ahead of the "Gagaku - Music of Asia" concert on March 6th,
we have published an interview with composer Tomoya Yokokawa, who was commissioned to create a new piece for the concert.
In the first part, Yokokawa discusses his approach to traditional Japanese music and culture, as well as his journey as a composer based overseas.
In the second part, Yokokawa talks in detail about the thoughts behind his Gagaku piece "Hoshi-Gumi," which will be premiered at the concert, the unique challenges he faced in the production process,
and his feelings about attending the premiere.
